Designation - Documentation Manager
Exp : 15 years of relevant experience in Shipping /Projects/ Freight Forwarding/Air cargo Documentation functions
Job Responsibilities:
- To handle entire Export & Import Documentation activities.
- Position will be responsible to conceptualize and put in place Documentation processes and systems, which are error free and fast, to the satisfaction of the Company, Principals, network partners and Customers with special emphasis on avoidance of claims.
- Responsibilities will include implementation of procedures as per logistics and freight forwarding industry best practices for the execution of the Export / Import documentation cycle whilst safeguarding the interests of the company and ensure all compliances by the customer.
- Candidate must be well experienced in Import Manifest processes, IGM preparation & filing.
- Candidate should possess good communication skills and leadership qualities to guide the Team.
- Should be able to review and update current SOPs and ensure proper documentation of each case as per the set SOPs revised time to time.
- Maintaining timely and error free service to customers in all cases of import and export documentation wherein HBL, AWB or direct line BL and Multimodal value-added service documentation including transportation, Customs clearance, consols & lashing services may be involved.
- Prepare monthly report on performance and future trends for analysis
- Develop methods to improve cargo documentation process in all above-mentioned cases based on strict adherence to industry standards or sector requirements
- Must be able to independently correspond and represent company with Client, foreign counterparts, Shipping lines, air lines, consol operators, ports and statutory authorities.
- Team leader with experience of leading a team.
- Candidate must have global trade knowledge with shipping documentation compliance.
Designation - Executive / Senior Executive / Asst Manager / Manager
Exp : 2 years to 10+ years
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for executing Agency Operation process.
- Ensures that the vessel operations are performed in an accurate and timely manner by providing direction to their respective supporting cast which may be assigned.
- Perform those duties necessary to sustain the optimal operations performance of Berth Terminals.
- Prepare necessary documents for the master's signature.
- Conversant with PDA, FDA
- Send general and trade advisories to Principals
- Scrutiny of Daily Agency works, close liaison with Principals and addressing all their procedural enquiries
- Conversant with Ship Agency Operations and procedures
- Keep in contact with Master / Owners / Agents pre-arrival, at Port, discharge/loading and post departure activity.
- Coordinate and supervise vessels and operations.
- Coordinate staffing requirements
- Coordinate with Dock Manager/Operations Manager/ Traffic Manager / Harbour Master
- Prepare vessel discharge / loading report, preliminary & final Reports.
- Promote and enforce safety rules, administrative and operational policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate with Branch Office for vessel operations.
- Team player with coordination with HO co-workers and all India Branch Offices
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of agency operations and procedures
